Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.
Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."
Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. Rachel has accused Wow! My Dog of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.
Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas is a Wow! My Dog customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its animal abuse ad ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
